Available Calendar Downloads
We offer several calendar file options to suit different needs:
Full Tournament Calendar (104 matches): The complete schedule from the Opening Match on June 11 to the Final on July 19. Includes all group stage, Round of 32, Round of 16, quarterfinal, semifinal, third-place, and Final matches. Each event includes the venue name, city, and competing teams (where known).
Group Stage Only (96 matches): Just the group stage fixtures from June 11 to June 28. Ideal for fans who only plan to follow the opening rounds or who want a separate calendar for each phase.
Knockout Stage Only (8 rounds, 32 matches): From the Round of 32 on June 29 through the Final on July 19. Knockout matches are updated as results come in — teams are listed as “Winner of Match X” until the actual teams are determined.
By Team: Individual calendar files for popular teams. If you only want to follow the USMNT, England, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, or other specific teams, download their dedicated calendar. Team calendars include group stage matches and potential knockout round dates.
Key Dates Only: A lightweight calendar with just the major milestones: Opening Match, final group matchday, quarterfinals, semifinals, and the Final. Perfect for casual fans who want reminders for the biggest moments without cluttering their calendar.
How to Import into Google Calendar
Adding the World Cup schedule to Google Calendar takes less than a minute:
Method 1 — Import .ics file:
- Download the .ics file from this page
- Open Google Calendar on your computer (calendar.google.com)
- Click the gear icon (Settings) in the top right
- Select “Import & Export” from the left sidebar
- Click “Select file from your computer” and choose the downloaded .ics file
- Select which calendar to add events to (or create a new “World Cup 2026” calendar)
- Click “Import” — all matches appear immediately
Method 2 — Subscribe via URL (recommended):
- Copy the calendar subscription URL from this page
- In Google Calendar, click the ”+” next to “Other calendars” on the left
- Select “From URL”
- Paste the subscription URL
- Click “Add calendar”
The subscription method is superior because it automatically updates when FIFA changes kickoff times or confirms match details. An imported file is a static snapshot that does not update.
Pro tip: Create a dedicated “World Cup 2026” calendar in Google Calendar. This lets you toggle World Cup events on and off without affecting your personal or work calendars. You can also set the calendar to a specific color for easy visual identification.

Calendar Content Details
Each calendar event includes the following information:
- Event title: “Team A vs Team B” (or “TBD vs TBD” for future knockout matches)
- Date and time: Kickoff time in the local venue time zone (automatically converts to your zone)
- Location: Stadium name and city
- Description: Tournament stage, match number, group (for group stage), and broadcasting notes
- Duration: 2 hours per event (standard match length), extended to 2.5 hours for knockout matches (potential extra time)
- Reminders: Default 15-minute reminder before kickoff
Time zone handling: Calendar events are encoded with the correct venue time zone (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific for US venues; CDT for Mexico; EDT/PDT for Canada). Your calendar app automatically converts the kickoff to your local time. A match at 7:00 PM ET at MetLife Stadium will show as 4:00 PM PT if you are in California, or 12:00 AM BST the next day if you are in London.
Staying Updated
The World Cup schedule evolves as the tournament progresses:
Pre-tournament updates: FIFA may adjust kickoff times for TV optimization up until a few weeks before the tournament. Our subscription calendar reflects these changes automatically.
During the tournament: Knockout match events are updated with actual team names as group results are confirmed. If you are subscribed (not just imported), you will see “France vs Brazil” replace “Winner Match 47 vs Winner Match 48” in real time.
Notifications: Consider setting alerts for specific matches you do not want to miss. Most calendar apps let you add custom reminders — set a 30-minute and 5-minute alert for must-watch games.
Combine with other tools: Use the calendar alongside the FIFA+ app for live scores, our TV schedule page for channel information, and social media for real-time commentary and reaction.
Calendar files will be available for download once FIFA finalizes kickoff times for all matches. Subscribe to our email list or bookmark this page to be notified when the files are ready. Group stage calendars based on the draw are available now; knockout stage calendars will be populated as the tournament progresses.
